Handwriting and Typewriting~

I usually clock myself at around 80 WPM (using only the tools on the net) on a good day. But I couldn’t write a consistent a word, five letters longs, without the letters shrinking by the time I reach letter number 4. Not to mention, my hand starts to hurt by line 3.

Man, I need to start “HAND”-writing again. ^o^

… when was the last time you wrote something on a piece of paper instead of a word processor? ^_^

15 Day Flying/Travel Challenge Day 10

Would you like to be a Flight Attendant?

No, I would not like to be a Flight Attendant - it’s my childhood dream to be the pilot instead. ^_^

Have you ever seen a female pilot?

No, I have never seen a female pilot - but I want to. ^____^

Can you sleep during the flight?

I honestly try not to but I can - I’m scared to mess up my sleep cycle by falling asleep at the wrong time. I end up depriving myself of sleep during the flight but it seems to work against jet lag.

When I came to Los Angeles sleep-deprived, it was still sunny out and I oddly still had the energy to walk around and have dinner later.

When I came to London also sleep-deprived, it was practically 1:00 am but I had no trouble sleeping… and waking up at 5:00 am - as usual.

Have you ever met anyone or established any relationships during a flight?

Unfortunately, I haven’t; wouldn’t that be nice though? ^-^

What do you do when you experience turbulence?

I’ll hold on to my drink if I were having one - it sucks having it spill all over. Otherwise, I don’t really do anything; I find it too troublesome to worry about something going wrong or just recall where the flight attendants said the life vests are or something.

15 Day Flying/Travel Challenge: Day 5

Ooops, missed a day~

What do you like to do during the flight?

I’ll normally do is check what JP movies are available - those that make it to flights usually are interesting. If that’s not available, I try to write something… anything… though it usually ends up incredibly illegible because of turbulence.

15 Day Flying/Travel Challenge: Day 4

Day 4: What seat do you prefer: window, center, or aisle?

Up until now, I’ve always preferred the aisle seat - it makes it easier to go to the lavatory but I’ve never traveled by myself before. If I had a choice, I would definitely go for the window seat that is right by the door/exit.

Think about it; there are no seats in front of you (other than the flight attendant’s seat which is a bonus if she’s really cute), you get first pick from the food tray, you’re one of the last to board the plane (which is good for me as the whole boarding process becomes quiet and peaceful and ideally the last person everyone is waiting for before the plane departs), and finally you’re one of the first to disembark. ^__^

And oh yeah… window seat because nobody kind of bothers you if they’re going to take a leak by passing in front of you.

15 Day Flying/Travel Challenge: Day 3

Day 3: What was the longest flight you have ever taken?

The longest flight I have ever taken was a 13-Hour flight - followed by an hour and a half waiting at the airport for a 2 hour (?) flight to our actual destination. I did not, or rather could not, sleep at all during those times; I must have watched a dozen movies or so during the flights.

The best part of it all? I did not experience jet lag! ^______^v

15 Day Flying/Travel Challenge: Day 2

Day 2: Do you like to travel by airplane?

Pretty much - as I’ve only traveled between countries on two other vehicles on one occasion (namely, a cruise ship and a bus). Personally, I like hanging out at airports and eating airplane food. ^_^

15 Day Flying/Travel Challenge: Day 1

Day 1: How old were you when you went on your first flight? Where did you go?

I could not remember how old I was during my first flight - I was either in nursery or in kindergarten then (oddly, I could remember myself crying when we arrived at our house over there because I wanted to come back to our ‘green house’ - the house with a green roof).

My family went to Saudi Arabia - my dad had a contract there with his company for a few years.
